It was a disappointment, even if we now their room prices are low. Pictures did not tells the truth, the rooms are small and worn out. Doors are so thin, it blocks nothing, so you could hear everything. People talking quietly outside at the reception, but you can understand every word... We spent less then two hours there, only to find al alternative (for a higher price of course), then we left. We sent an email to their reservation email, telling we would not stay, their answer was " we are sorry to see you go, enjoy Barcelona". No refund, even partially was offered....:(

When I first booked the room, I was sent a link with the booking confirmation that contained the value I was paying for the room. When I clicked on the same link after a few weeks, the price had increased. Fortunately I had saved the initial booking confirmation, otherwise I wouldn't have had evidence that they were overcharging me. The room was ok, but worse than it looked in the photos. The room we stayed was on the side of the street, so it was very loud soon in the morning.

Our original trip was supposed to happen in April 2020 (all prepaid with no refunds) but due to C*vid, we had to cancel it. To our delight, they were kind enough to allow us to come on a later date during 2021. The guest house is in an excellent location just minutes away from the metro and a plentiful of buses. We stayed in the Budget Room with a shared bathroom. Least to say, it met all our expectations. It had air conditioning, the beds were comfy and the towels and trashbags were changed daily. The bathroom was kept clean during the day. The only downside was the wifi; it often disconnected. Overall a great experience!

My wife and myself have booked a room to your guesthouse Jardinets for the period from 5th October till 10th October 2019 (5 nights). The origin of the request to come to this guesthouse was to have a quit room including the bath room. But, unfortunately we did not slept at all during the 1st night (from 5th to 6th October) due to too many noise. The room was above a street directly in front of a traffic light, the noise of the toilet/water motor you have installed certainly for a good reason does not matched with a quit situation. We were situated near the entrance so anytime we heard all guest in the corridor. Furthermore we were just in front of he breakfast room, so you can imagine this was uncomfortable ! No chance to have another room (fully booked) then we have looking for another guesthouse. Leaving the room the next day. Now since October 2019 we are trying to get money back from the hotel. Already 10 requests sent without any news !!!! To be noted: We have booked the room directly from them, nice contact at the beginning but no follow up if any complaint. Very disappointed !!!

We did not have much choice for breakfast, everything was packed in plastic. It was not really spanish. We did not know that the bathroom was in common with other rooms and it was very small but clean.In the room we did not have much space for our clothes. The location was perfect to visit the city, but not comfortable to reach the airport. The host was very friendly even if the last day she did not make our room.
